Joel Pomerantz of Thinkwalks will lead a three mile, 2 & 1/2 hour walk with three waypoint stops for brief presentations. Topics will touch on history, nature and geography with a fun surprise that involves a secret visit from the most famous musician of all time. The walk will begin in Golden Gate Park and partly follow a new and little-known nature trail. After crossing Lone Mountain by stairway, the walk will also feature a look at local water mapping and the site of the first building in the neighborhood, to end at Alamo Square.
